Homework

Your parents or carers will need to download the free Seesaw App. onto a phone, tablet or computer that you can use. Your teacher will set your home learning on this app. every week and also if you have to work from home due to Covid19. If you haven’t got a phone, tablet or computer that you can work on, your parent/carer must let your teacher know.

Each week your teachers will send you:

  • Some Spellings to learn which you will be tested on during the week, this will depend on which phonics group  you are in.
  • 11 club which you will be tested on each week.

You are also expected to read for 10 minutes EVERY day. Someone must record in your Reading Record that you have read and you must bring that Reading Record and reading book back to school EVERY day. You can do the recording if you want to.

More home learning suggestions for other subjects can be found in the Pupils - Home Learning tab and there are lots of links on the Pupils - Search a Subject tab to fun games and activities. The 99 Club sheets are below and all Year1 spellings.

We also love to hear about anything else you are learning about or exciting things you are doing at home. You and your parents can use Seesaw to let us know. We never stop learning at Templars!
