PE

At Templars we love PE and we want the children to love it too!

Our aim is to ensure all children enjoy lessons, come prepared to take part & have the willingness to learn.

PE Kit is vital to help a child feel comfortable in PE. They will require:

White t-shirt

Black trousers or shorts

PE shoes (preferably trainers as they have a better grip)

It saves time in the lessons if children have the correct kit. They feel more like a part of the group.

We have such a variety of clubs on offer too. See link below:

https://www.templars.coventry.sch.uk/clubs-1/

We would love all children to attend clubs, but we know places are taken up quickly. We are trying to rectify this.

It helps the children to socialise in a different environment and build their confidence.

If you are interested in your child attending clubs please e-mail & we can add their name to teh waiting list if it is full.

We hope your child has a great PE experience at Templars and continues to love PE & Sport into Secondary School and adulthood.

We have lots of talented sports pupils - Katie plays for Coventry City. We think she can go all the way!

Why is PE important?

This year sees a slow return to 'normal' activity. We are now able to enter the School Games competitions and there are also some virtual challenges we are able to enter.

We are also hoping to take part in more friendly matches against other schools and will be taking part in the Coventry Primary School Sports Association football leagues for boys & girls in Years 5 & 6.
