This term, the children have made shelters, used binoculars and magnifying glasses to explore the natural world around them in Reception. Other Year groups have been pond dipping, cooking bread and fruit compote over a fire, making magical potions and wands using natural resources around us, hunting for mini beasts, creating leaf mobiles to decorate our forest school, colour hunting, making tree ladders and testing their strength to climb and making stretchers and shelters where they were able to test and evaluate them.
